The Covanta SEMASS facility also came through in a pinch for a clothing drive organized by the Decas Community Center Foundation for local children in need. When the organizers realized they would not have enough clothing for all of the children on the waiting list, they reached out to Covanta for help, and the facility purchased items for 14 kids in time for the giveaway.
