Covanta Stanislaus hosted a visit by a group of 50 sixth graders during their last week of elementary school. The tour was two years in the making, as COVID-19 postponed the original 2020 tour date for the students from Fremont Elementary School in Modesto, CA. Students learned about what happens to their trash and received Covanta Stanislaus frisbees at the end of the tour.
