Covanta Hempstead helped a local Boy Scout from nearby Rockville Centre, NY, achieve his Eagle Scout badge. The facility assisted with reverent retirement of a large quantity of American flags he collected for his Eagle Scout project. The Hempstead team was happy to help this young man achieve the highest rank in Scouting.
