The Covanta Haverhill team participated in the 57th Annual VFW Santa Parade in Haverhill, MA. This year’s theme was “Santa Claus IS Coming to Town,” but it was more like “Covanta IS coming to town.” The Covanta float featured a U.S. flag retirement box and a drug take-back display. During the parade, retired flags and unwanted prescription medications were collected and taken to Covanta Haverhill for proper disposal. The main attraction of the float was a stack emitting bubbles.
