The Long Island facilities (Covanta Babylon, Covanta Hempstead, Covanta Huntington and Covanta MacArthur) sponsored the Turkey and Trimmings campaign run by Island Harvest, Long Island’s largest food bank, to provide holiday meals to families in need. Community Affairs Specialist Maureen Early presented a $2,500 check along with non-perishable food items donated by employees.
