The Covanta Onondaga facility served as the major sponsor of the Central New York Regional Envirothon, held in person for the first time since the start of the pandemic. Students from high schools in Onondaga County and surrounding areas took part in the competition hosted by the Onondaga County Soil and Water Conservation District.
