Covanta SEMASS completed a season of giving with multiple holiday donations for the community. The SEMASS Santa made a visit to a local family struggling with extreme financial hardship related to COVID-19. Due to the generosity of SEMASS employees, all four children received everything on their list… and then some!
The facility also sponsored hot holiday meal delivery to senior citizen housing facilities in the Wareham area and the Council of Aging Grab & Go hot meal program. Finally, SEMASS donated 54 grocery gift cards to the Wareham Public School Backpack Food Program, which supports children at risk of food insecurity during school breaks.
