Covanta Huntington employees generously participated in a holiday toy drive for the benefit of local children. Hundreds of toys were collected and provided to Project T.O.Y., the Family Service League and the Tri CYA in Huntington, NY, for distribution.
Working with American Legion Post #1244 and a local car club, the Huntington facility held a drive-by drop-off event to raise needed supplies and money for Operation Enduring Care. This effort provides items for patients of the Long Island VA Medical Center Hospital who suffer from homelessness, PTSD and other ailments. The event raised over $2,000 and several truckloads of goods for this wonderful cause.
