Fairless Team Partners with TASK to Serve Meals

Our Reworld Fairless team recently partnered with TASK (Trenton Area Soup Kitchen) to help serve meals to individuals in the community. It was a meaningful and rewarding experience, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support TASK’s mission of providing nourishment and care to those in need.

A big thank you to the Fairless team for participating and making the event a success. We had a great time coming together to give back.

Reworld™ Celebrates Earth Day in Chester, PA

This Earth Day, the Reworld™ Delaware Valley team stepped outside the facility to support the Chester Senior Center, reinforcing our commitment to the communities we serve.

At Reworld, sustainability goes beyond how we manage waste. It’s reflected in how we show up for our communities, building partnerships and supporting the neighborhoods where our employees live and work. Chester is one of those communities and being present here matters.

Through hands-on volunteer efforts, the team helped make a meaningful impact while strengthening connections with local partners.

Reworld™ Supports New Jersey Native Plant Rain Garden

Our Reworld™ Union team recently volunteered at New Jersey’s largest native plant rain garden in Rahway, helping prepare the space for the summer season. Working alongside Master Gardener Bob Markey, team members rolled up their sleeves to clear weeds, trim overgrown shrubs, and help maintain this important community resource.

Native plant rain gardens provide a variety of environmental benefits. They support local wildlife and biodiversity, improve water and soil quality, require less maintenance than traditional landscaping, and contribute to both environmental and economic sustainability. By featuring plants that are native to the region, they also help preserve New Jersey’s unique natural landscape.

We are proud to support projects like this that help create healthier, greener communities for generations to come.

Reworld™ Island Harvest Operation HOPE Program

Reworld™ Island Harvest’s Operation HOPE program provides peer support, food assistance, and essential services to Long Island’s veterans, active-duty personnel, and military families facing food insecurity.
Reworld™ recently supported this initiative by providing essential care item packages. With the help of two dedicated students from East Meadow School District, who generously volunteered their time during vacation. We packed each box and included heartfelt handwritten notes, thanking the veterans for their service.Thank You to Island Harvest for including Reworld™ at the distribution at Northport VA Hospital and for your unwavering commitment to our veterans.

Celebrating Easter in Rahway with Community Action

For Easter, our Reworld™ Union team proudly sponsored the Rahway Community Action Organization in support of its Easter meal distribution and Easter Egg Dash. Team members helped assemble and pack bags that provided meals to 150 households, reaching a total of 558 individuals.

In addition, the team supported event preparations by placing Easter eggs and assisting with registration for more than 1,000 Rahway community members for the Easter Egg Dash, alongside Mayor Giacobbe and his wife Laura.

Reworld™ Children's Hospital of Philadelphia

Reworld™ Hempstead’s Drug Take Back Program

Reworld™ had an incredible turnout at the Town of Hempstead’s Drug Take Back Program this past Sunday held at Newbridge Road Park. Reworld™ was proud to collaborate with Supervisor John Ferretti and the Town in the safe collection and proper disposal of a truckload of unused and expired medication. Initiatives like this play a critical role in protecting our environment, preventing misuse, and keeping communities safe. Thank You to everyone who participated and helped make this program such a success.

Reworld™ North Babylon Environmental Club

Members of the North Babylon Environmental Club recently toured Reworld™ Babylon, where Facility Manager Matt Augi guided them through an informative and engaging behind-the-scenes experience. Students learned how thermal treatment transforms waste into a resource, gaining firsthand insight into the important role sustainable waste management plays in protecting our environment.
