Reworld™ Fairless Hills Volunteers at TASK Area Soup Kitchen
July 1, 2025

Reworld™ Fairless Hills came together at the TASK Area Soup Kitchen in Trenton, NJ to serve our neighbors in need. Our team arrived in full force, first helping to sort and package Ibuprofen and Tylenol for distribution. From there, some of us worked at the salad bar and sandwich station, preparing to-go meals, handing out medicine and assisting where needed as “runners” and “followers.” Runners delivered trays of food directly from the line, while followers guided runners, supported the staff and made sure everyone received a nourishing meal. Food service ran from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
This experience allowed us to bond with the community and provide hands-on support to those who needed it most. Reworld™ Fairless Hills also made a donation to help the kitchen continue its vital work.
Altogether, we served 243 to-go meals, welcomed 284 guests for in-house dining and saw 130 people enjoy the salad bar. Longtime volunteers Anita and Roxy shared that this was the largest amount of food ever served by a volunteer group and expressed their gratitude for our efforts.
