This past Saturday, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) teamed up with Island Harvest for the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive on Long Island, and Reworld™ was proud to be part of it.
As an event sponsor, we were also active participants. Many of our employees contributed by leaving bags of non-perishable food at their mailboxes to support the fight against hunger across Long Island.
The donated food was delivered to Island Harvest Food Bank, where our Reworld™ team spent the following morning sorting and repacking items to ensure they reach neighbors in need. It was a powerful and heartwarming experience to be part of such a meaningful effort.
We are especially grateful to Randi Shubin Dresner, President and CEO of Island Harvest, and her incredible team for their tireless dedication to addressing food insecurity across the region.
