Covanta Haverhill’s employees built a float which was entered into the 58th Annual VFW Santa Parade in Haverhill, Massachusetts. The holiday themed event attracts thousands of residents ready to see Santa. This year, the Covanta Haverhill team won first place in Best Overall Float at the event. The float featured a reindeer and sleigh as well as a stack fitted with an ugly sweater decorated with a star, which harkens to the facility’s famous seasonal light.
