The Covanta Durham York facility proudly supports Ontario Tech University. The facility, to date, has donated $8,000 to support Ontario Tech University‘s Women for STEM program, an initiative to help increase women’s access to STEM education at the university. The program’s goal is to raise $2 million to provide 200 entrance scholarships and 600 in-course scholarships to female STEM students over a 10-year period.
