Covanta Camden had the pleasure of hosting a tour for the Women in Natural Sciences (WINS) group. The students had an amazing time touring the facility and learning about the waste-to-energy process.
WINS is a summer science enrichment program at the Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University. The WINS program provides young women with the education, encouragement, and confidence they need to shape their futures. The program’s mentoring efforts have resulted in 100% of WINS students graduating high school and over 96% attending college.
