Covanta MacArthur provided helping hands to the Keep Islip Clean organization at the Project Bloom Organic Community Garden in East Islip. The intense heat didn’t stop these workers from pulling the many weeds that were overtaking the garden beds and then laying wood chips to avoid future infestation. Keep Islip Clean (KIC), is a not-for-profit, community service organization dedicated to a cleaner Islip Township.
