Covanta Essex partnered with Jersey Cares to ensure that one hundred and four (104) families from Hawkins Street School in Newark, NJ received a healthy meal for the Thanksgiving holiday. Covanta employees happily distributed food bags to families of the community. The community members expressed their gratitude and were thankful for the food supplies.
Jersey Cares is a non-profit organization that recruits and engages volunteers in rewarding and effective efforts that address community-identified needs. They partner with local non-profits to identify needs and implement volunteer projects to meet those needs.
