Frequently Asked Questions

Plain answers for teams that need to move waste correctly, document the work, and make the next decision.

Every shipment generates: signed manifest copies returned within EPA deadlines, LDR notifications confirming the treatment method met or exceeded applicable standards, certificates specifying treatment date and method, and exception reporting if any deviation occurs. All records live in your portal for audit defense and biennial reporting compliance.

Many generators aren't sure until they look closer. If you're not certain, send us your SDS or a product name and we'll help you figure out the right classification and next steps.
You'll know exactly where it's going and how it's being treated (stabilization, fuel blending, thermal treatment, or permitted storage) based on your waste code and profile. No guessing, no black box.

Reworld accepts RCRA-listed waste (D, F, K, P, U codes), CERCLA waste, TSCA-regulated PCBs, mercury-containing waste, and PFAS-containing waste. Acceptance is confirmed through our waste profile pre-qualification process, which verifies your waste against our specific permit conditions before scheduling shipment.

A TSDF (like those operated by Reworld) operates under a RCRA Part B permit to treat and dispose of waste on its own property. A transfer station and broker temporarily hold waste, then ship it elsewhere under a new manifest.

Yes. Reworld operates TSCA permits for PCB-contaminated soil, articles, and bulk product waste. All treatment occurs under 40 CFR Part 761 conditions at our facility, with certificates of disposal and complete EPA-required chain-of-custody records.

PFAS destruction is a moving regulatory target. Reworld operates thermomechanical treatment facilities where high-temperature incineration destroys PFAS compounds to EPA-recognized standards. We also stabilize PFAS-containing solids when incineration isn't required. Our in-house treatment means PFAS waste doesn't get routed through multiple processors.
