Covanta’s Pop-Up Grocery Market in Chester

In a heartwarming effort to support struggling families in the Chester area, Covanta Delaware Valley & Goodr, partnered to have a pop-up grocery market recently and distributed a week's worth of healthy food options to 250 households. The market included an array of fresh foods, such as ground beef, fish, lunch and breakfast meats, shelf-stable items, eggs, bread, fresh fruits and vegetables, and beverages.
With the rise of inflation and mounting supply chain issues, many families in the area have been struggling to put nutritious meals on the table. The pop-up market provided a much-needed boost to these families, offering not only food but also hope and support.
