Reworld™ joined the Town of Hempstead community in honoring the victims and first responders of the September 11 attack during the Memorial Service at Town Park Point Lookout. More than a thousand community members gathered at sunrise—united in remembrance and reflection on the 24th anniversary of this pivotal day—at what has become Long Island’s largest 9/11 ceremony. Guided by Supervisor John Ferretti and the Hempstead Town Board, the service honored the nearly 3,000 lives lost.
Reworld™ was privileged to sponsor the white carnations that were offered to each attendee. As the ceremony concluded, participants walked to the shoreline and cast their flowers into the ocean, marking a meaningful and deeply personal moment of reflection.
