The 54th annual Earth Day celebration in the Town of Islip shined a spotlight on a recycling-themed poster contest sponsored by Reworld™. Young students had the chance to display their artistic flair while promoting ways to preserve our planet. Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter presided over an awards ceremony at Town Hall, where the talented winners were showered with fantastic prizes from Reworld™. The top two students received Lenovo tablets, while the 2nd and 3rd place winners were gifted Barnes & Noble certificates. Additionally, the schools of the first-place winners were granted $250.00 gift certificates. Cheers to these remarkable students for their outstanding efforts in celebrating and safeguarding our planet!
