Reworld™ Fairfax team had the opportunity to partner with Friends of Accotink Creek remove invasive plants from Kutner Park. The team was able to accomplish cleaning 400 square feet worth of plants, which will be replanted with a native species. This includes English ivy, which smothers native plants and degrades the environment.

Carolyn Cruz, a Community Outreach Specialist at Reworld™ was happy to take part, in which, "We’re proud to be active stewards of our environment and will continue supporting this fantastic group dedicated to preserving our county’s natural habitat."

We thank Phillip for the opportunity to serve and for his commitment to protect native plants and animals.
