Reworld™ employees joined forces with Montgomery Park for a cleanup initiative at Broad Acres Park in Maryland. Together, they gathered a total of 12 trash bags, weighing in at 470 pounds. This collected trash will be taken back to the facility for conversion into energy.
Montgomery Parks, provides parks and trails to the local community, along with sports venues, gardens and historical landmarks.
Community Outreach Specialist Carolyn Cruz spoke on the experience stating, "We are happy to support our local community, making the environment cleaner and safer for both people and the native animals. More importantly, this cleanup effort prevents trash from entering nearby waterways, creating a better environment and a brighter future."
