Reworld™ Long Island proudly sponsored the Day of Action & Environmental Stewardship at Centerport Beach. Despite breezy, damp weather, our Long Island, NY team gathered for a purposeful day focused on community, conservation and coastal well-being at the Centerport Senior Beach House.
Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to clean up the beach and plant flowers, enhancing a cherished space enjoyed by many neighbors. The event, co-sponsored by us and The 1653 Foundation (Friends of Huntington Parks, Beaches, and Public Spaces), also featured a well-deserved pizza lunch for all who contributed their efforts.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Huntington Town Supervisor Ed Smyth and Councilwoman Theresa Mari for their leadership and for inspiring us all through demonstrated community action. Thank you to every participant, your commitment and service help create a cleaner, stronger, and more vibrant town.
