Reworld™ Honors World Cleanup Day with Community Engagement Events Across the Country

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – Reworld™ celebrated World Cleanup Day this September by partnering with local organizations, municipalities, and volunteers to host a series of cleanup events across the country. These initiatives showcased the company’s ongoing focus on environmental stewardship and community impact, uniting employees, neighbors, and partners in the shared goal of building a cleaner, more sustainable future.

Events Nationwide

Across the country, Reworld™ facilities joined forces with community groups to remove litter, beautify neighborhoods, and support environmental education.

Highlights included:

  • Honolulu, HI – Reworld™ employees participated in the HPOWER Cleanup, supporting community efforts to maintain one of the region’s critical energy and environmental resources.
  • Montgomery County, MD – Reworld™ supported local residents at Montgomery County’s World Cleanup Day initiative along Martinsburg Drive.
  • Camden, NJ – The Camden Strong Cleanup mobilized Reworld™ employees and community members in the Mt. Ephraim/Ferry corridor. Reworld™ volunteers also participated in a two-hour hike and cleanup on Petty's Island alongside Camden's Center for Aquatic Sciences.
  • Niagara Falls, NY – Volunteers took part in a Reworld™ World Cleanup Day event on 56th Street, removing neighborhood litter.
  • Long Island, NY – Teams are participating in four community cleanups: a roadside cleanup at Connetquot State Park (MacArthur), a marine cleanup at Elda Pond (Babylon), a cleanup of Merchants Concourse (Hempstead), and a collaboration with the Town of Smithtown at Gibbs Pond (Huntington).
  • Essex County, NJ – Reworld™ partnered with the Newark Green Team and Keep America Beautiful for cleanups at Weequahic Park and Boylan Rec Center.
  • Delaware Valley, PA – Reworld™ volunteers gathered at Barry Bridge Park, behind Subaru Stadium, to celebrate World Cleanup Day with the local community.
  • Fairless Hills, PA – The Reworld™ team will host a cleanup event on Mill Creek Parkway in Levittown.
  • Alexandria, VA – The Reworld™ team joined seniors and local groups at the Alexandria National Cemetery for a World Cleanup Day event with intergenerational participation.
  • Fairfax County, VA – Volunteers joined Reworld™ for a World Cleanup Day roadside cleanup in partnership with the county, focused on maintaining safe and clean public spaces.
